Zack BookForge

Turn your PDFs into real books on your phone.

Zack BookForge is an Android reading app. Bring in a PDF or a folder of images and it becomes a proper book — cover, chapters, bookmarks, reading position, search and zoom — on a shelf you can read offline.

Offline first. Reading, importing, making books, annotating and exporting all work with no account and no connection. Signing in is optional, and only adds the online extras.

What it does

Import PDFs and images and build them into books with covers.
Read offline, with chapter navigation, bookmarks and page jumping.
Smooth page swiping, zoom anywhere, and a dark reading theme.
Open a PDF from anywhere on your phone straight into the app.
Edit PDFs: crop, reorder, compress, export as images, share.
Browse and download books other people have published.
Optionally back your PDFs up to your own Google Drive, so a reinstall does not lose them.

Your files stay yours

Everything you import lives in the app's private storage on your phone. If you switch the backup on, copies go into your Google Drive — never ours. There is no advertising and no tracking of any kind. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored and where.
